LAMELLA takes its form from the delicate pleated underside of mushrooms with radiating lamellae that fan outward from stem to cap edge. Dozens of vertical ridges create continuous channels that diffuse and soften illumination, transforming harsh bulb light into ambient glow. Each pleated ridge creates a micro diffuser, scattering light in multiple directions while the valleys between catch and hold shadow. The result is dimensional illumination that changes as you move around the piece. Light pools differently in each channel, creating subtle variation across the surface. The pearl white colourway maximizes light transmission while the material opacity prevents glare. When lit, LAMELLA becomes luminous.
