The Development Process

Concept to working MVP in 8 to 12 weeks. Defined milestones at every phase.

We assess technical feasibility, identify the real challenges, and map out a development path. No commitment required at this stage.

Full CAD development, electronics architecture, material selection, and DfAM optimisation. You review and approve at key milestones.

In-house 3D printing, electronics assembly, and integration. Parts are built and assembled here. No waiting on external vendors.

Functional testing, problem identification, and design improvements based on actual test data.

Final 2–3 working units, complete documentation package, manufacturing files, schematics, and assembly instructions.

Iteration cycles are normal and expected. Most projects cycle between Design, Build, and Test 2 to 3 times. In-house manufacturing means each iteration takes days, not weeks. This is how good products are built.

No. We work with sketches, napkin drawings, rough concepts, or even just a verbal description. Our job is to turn your idea into technical documentation. No engineering background needed to get started.
This is expected and entirely normal. We build in 2 to 4 iteration cycles for exactly this reason. We test, find what isn't working, refine the design, and build again. That is part of the process. In-house manufacturing means each iteration takes days, not weeks.
We check in with you at three points: concept approval, design review, and first build testing. Between those, we work independently. Most clients spend around 2 to 3 hours per week on feedback and decisions.
Yes. Many clients continue working with us for production design, manufacturing partner selection, design refinements, and additional units. We can also recommend specialists for areas outside our scope such as certifications or complex custom PCBs.
